About The Program
Our middle school program is designed to prepare students for what comes next and teaches them the essential skills to be successful in high school and beyond. The class of 2023 earned over $130,000 in scholarship money and our students are routinely sought after by elite high schools. Our strategic partnership with Saint Mark’s High School has opened the doors to new experiences an opportunities to our students and there has never been a better time to join our community! We welcome everyone to visit campus and see what being a St. Peter student is all about!

Academics
Our middle school students take courses in English, math, science, social studies, and religion, along with specials including art, music, and physical education. Spanish is also offered every day in grades 6-8. Through our strategic partnership with Saint Mark’s High School we are also able to offer exciting extracurricular experiences like coding, esports, and robotics. Our program also features opportunities to join the National Junior Honor Society, student council, and we have a full array of CYM sports available year-round!

Tuition
St. Peter the Apostle School tuition is comparable with other Catholic schools in the area. Parishioners at St. Peter the Apostle or Holy Spirit parishes receive a discount, and other discounts may be available. Annual tuition assistance is available through the Diocese of Wilmington and our goal is to make the superior education available at St. Peter the Apostle accessible to all families.

Ms. Katelyn Starr, M.Ed

This is my first year at St. Peter and I am so excited to join the school community! I earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master’s degree in educational leadership (along with my teaching certification) from Immaculata University. One of my life’s greatest blessings has been spending time in the classroom - I love being a teacher. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, curling up with a good book, or spending time with family and friends.

I’m excited to return for my second year at St. Peter to teach social studies and P.E. This summer I taught a class about the Civil War at the College of William and Mary where I finished my PhD in history last year. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to explore interesting ideas and learn great stories with all kinds of students.
